That's what I see here, the old hoses look perfectly good, no cracking. Obviously they cannot last forever, but it appears the original material is of very high quality. It just seemed like a good ideer to change them as long as I was doing the calipers, but even if the Chinese hoses are OK at first it would be surprising if they last very long. (In fact I would not be surprised if they blew apart at the first panic stop! That's about the level of 'kwality' I've seen overall in Chinese-made auto parts.)
I've got everything back together now with the original hoses and that should be fine for the time being.
