ABS accumulator/master cyl question. i did search Posted by nicknick [Email] (#731) [Profile/Gallery] (more from nicknick) on Wed, 23 Apr 2008 08:47:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
but am finding it difficult to get a perfect answer to my question.
93 cvt.
lights go out after a few seconds , when rested a short while, maybe 20-30 secs after few days.
6-8 stabs at the pedal gets lights on, for a couple secs.
pedal is definately a little firmer than my 92t was, but not so hard that there is no assist whatsoever.
car brakes straight. however, to do an emergency stop, i need to get muscle-man on it, and cannot get enough brake force to activate abs on smooth road.
is this more likely the accumulator or master?
if accumulator, i have a good one on a parts car here-how axactly do i change it out? everyone says it's easy, but i don't want to mess with the wrong screws here!
TIA
