Run a wire from the battery to the inside of the car. "Don't attach" to battery at this time. Once inside the car run another lenght back out of the car. What I do is to figure the lenght needed from the battery to inside the car and fold the wire double and run the folded end into the car. Once inside, cut the fold and attach the two wires to each side of the switch. You should be able to slide the wire inside the car through the steering colum rubber boot. Once you have the wires connected to the switch, connect the other end of wire inside the engine bay to the small wire on the solenoid after removing the small starter wire that's on the solenoid. connect the other end of wire to the positive battery terminal. try the switch with the key off to see if starter turns. If it does, turn the key to start/on position and try the new starter switch. REMEMBER to never us the switch when engine is running as this will ruin the starter or flywheel starter teeth or both. If you can't under stand these instuctions, just ask again and I'll try to explain differently.
