the word "saab" is machined at the fat end of the joint. you *might* be able to see it while installed but I couldn't say for sure and some boots cover more than others. could also be occluded by the spindle. honestly, have never gone back there to look.
i use a synthetic grease (redline) on the inner joints -- has worked well for many thousands of miles and on a couple cars.

the original joints have "saab" machined into them. oem is lobro. but why rebuild if there's nothing wrong with them? if you just want to re-grease/re-boot them, then put the old left joint on the right axle and vice versa so the bearings run on fresh surfaces.
