anyone have any good suggestions on tools/methods for getting those 2 bolts in?
feel like a lemon, don't think i ever failed to fix something that looked so simple!the bracket holding the pump to the block was intact, with the 2 13mm bolts holding pump to bracket being the ones that fell out. i tried and tried with finger tips to get one of the bolts in, but to no avail. i think their is some potential for using a short extension to go through the holes in p/s pump pulley, but i had only a 13mm wrench on hand.
i have an air ratchet in my shop, hoping that may do it, when she brings it back in a few weeks-just want to be ready!
i thought getting those a/c pulley bolts back in was tricky, but MAN!!! this is something else! tried for 1 1/2 hours ( idon't give up easy, if ever!) before it started to rain...
any thoughts?
