Replacement options for 85 900T front brake calipers?

Hi folks,
Over the years I've dealt with the idiosyncrasies of the Girling brakes in my 1985 900T. When the front calipers began binding, I'd routinely swap them out for a set of rebuilt ones. However, I'm now finding it difficult to procure rebuilt front calipers for the car. The 1985 is the last of the solid rotor front brake systems. The current set of rebuilt front calipers on the car came from eEuroparts a couple of years and about 10,000 miles ago. Now the left front caliper has begun to bind, and it's time for another swap out (I've already determined that the parking brake cable is not the cause). But none of my local SAAB resources can find replacement calipers.
I note from the BB archives that the Crown rebuilts offered by eEuroparts are not favored by this group. Does anyone know of a good source for a good rebuilt Girling caliper to handle the solid rotors?
As an alternative, would it make sense to upgrade to the last of the old-style Girling front brake systems, the 1987 ventilated rotor design? From what I can deduce from Bentley and online diagrams, there are no differences in 1985 and 1987 design in half-shaft, steering knuckle or hub. The only differences apparent to me are in the brake calipers and rotors. Is upgrading to the 1987 design an option in terms of design, reliability and/or availability of replacement (I assume rebuilt) parts?
I'd hate to consider saying good-bye to what is otherwise a well maintained car that's been in my family since it was new.
Thanks in advance for any advice you folks can provide.
