hi folks
sorry for gramma and other stuff but i am in 1.5k miles from Msk right now and surfing via pda+gprs and i hate both of them
yep, i decideded to see my g-friend (nick, i bet you do know her name!) and hit a road. 1st 50 miles were fine but after that it became hard to shift into the 2nd gear. when i made 350 miles i lost it completely. 650 miles - the 4th started poping out. 1100 (inetrmediate touch-n-go) - no first, second and poping-out 4th gears. no saab shop in nearest 1100 miles around. raining.
long story short - it was the dampher in the selector rod. the old one was thrown away and a brand new hockey puck was cut a bit and instaled. geeeezzzz! i never knew that c900 tranny can be so cristal clear and precise!
highly recommended mod for all stickies.
stay tuned - coming in the next series: humming (weeeeeah) noise in the 4th under the load. but not in the 3rd or 5th (cmyles, would you please help me with the scenario?)
yours,
Zig
