Hello all,

A question:

Were there any black 1988 SPGs imported to the US? I thought Edwardian Grey was the only color for that year...

I ask because I am looking at a supposed 1988 SPG that is black. I have only looked at it quickly - but it is dark leather interior and unbadged (except for saab emblems). Any way to tell w/o consulting vin #'s and/or Saab?

Concurrently, what would be a fair purchase price for such a car? About 200K on the odometer, with slight damage to rear quarter-panel and trunk (separate damage incidents comparable to supermarket parking lot altercations)? It is currently being repaired for a variety of things before sale by a saab mechanic (the seller btw). Interior fair. Service history unknown (to me, at least). Transmission not on the to-do list fwiw.

Also, opinions on replacing front seats with 9000 aero seats? I understand they will not fold up (since they were designed for a four-door). Anyone have them in a c900 - experiences?

Thanks for the help. I will go for a deeper look and test drive next week.
