Ok, you've clearly got a coolant leak somewhere.
Now stop driving it until you get that sorted out.
You may have two problems, or just one.
Fix the one you know about.
So find where your coolant went.
If it's not running onto the ground, it's going somewhere else and that isn't good. And you're missing a lot of it.
Coolant can get into the oil and not make it smoke (right away) too.
Check oil on dipstick and inside filler tube. If your volume is way up or there is a frothy mix, you have a problem.
Look for signs of where it went - check all hoses, radiator, fittings, etc to heater stuff. Smell around for it.
Best case - external leak or bad hose and your guy owes you a different ECM. Worst case - well, not particularly good.
