Hi Mac:
I took an old Coolant reservoir cap, drilled a hole in it, tapped in a brass hose fitting, sealed it with epoxy, and attach this to a pressurizer (vacuum pump in reverse). I tested my system up to 50 PSI, found some small leaks, then was told that in a shop, they only test one atmosphere of pressure...around 15 PSI.
You could also use the bleed nozzle above the thermostat, but good luck getting the hose to stay attached under pressure.
