As I was reading your post wrong fluid was in the back of my mind, thanks for sharing that it most likely was. did you flush all the way out of the brakes too? remember it's a shared resivour and if it was hard on the clutch it could be on the brakes too. If you have a power bleeder, or a buddy with an good leg, it's pretty easy to do. Just keep the fluid topped off and go to the rear brakes and open the bleed nipple, push down and old, tighten, release the pedal and repeat. you could put some red food coloring in the reseviour and when that comes out the other end you have done that side, then do the other, then the fronts.
