Ok I just bought a 92 (built in 91) 900S convertable that needed some parts but all in all was a solid car. So I work in a parts store and checked the cost for a full fuel pump assembly (since the car i have has no pump assembly at all) it's (~300 bucks) so I decided to go to the junk yard and check my luck. SO.... I have A pump (10 bucks for the full assembly :) so I bring it home go to hook it up and everything matches it seems plugs together and all yet i notice the fuel pump out of the junk yard car (1990 2dr sedan) has for wire prongs yet my 92 only has two prong holes used of the for. SO i called my work they say the assembly for 90 and 92 has the same part number (meaning it should work... but my questions are
one will it work?
two what is the difference with two and for prong set ups?
and
three do i need jumper wires to get it to work????
help yall!
