I used the townsend info as well. I had my wife turn the driverside front wheel (while in gear) to roll it in...some things to be aware of:
1. every so often the cam will suddenly "snap" forward when the valves close. This causes the the chain to skip a tooth sometimes...try to keep alot of tension on the chain as you feed it in to lessen this effect.
2. If you do end up with the timing off by a few teeth (I did) no big deal...you can get enough slack in the chain by having your helper rotate the wheel backwards. THen you can feed the chain over the cam gears to get proper alignment/timing.
It only took about 1.5 hours if that....
