The hardest part of the dash replacement is the facia. All those colored wires can be intimidating. Mark everything & remember that the connections tend to lay in thier natural position. You should not need to stretch any of the wires upon reinstallation. Check all the switches for proper operation before you put the four facia screws back in.
1987 & newer dashes are thicker. If you install a 87+ dash in a car with a thinner dash you will need to cut a small amount off the inside bottom of the A piller trim.
Take your time.
Good luck!
My crack free dash cost $26 & four years of searching the local u pull it yards. I probably saw 65 cracked dashes before I scored. Have not seen another in two years of looking.
