All the mechanical parts are available through thesaabsite.com--they are a site sponsor. If you're on a budget, you may want to look at salvage yards, as new parts are a bit pricey. Thesaabsite also has new tops. Tops are also available at most aftermarket convertible top manufacturers. You can search google for the best price. The original tops were German Happatch (sp?) canvass. You can still get that through many manufacturers, but it will be your highest-priced option. But then, you get what you pay for.
Replacing the top can be a DIY job. The instructions are available online (Townsend site I believe). If you are having a shop do it, many shops will not install a top purchased by the owner. They prefer their own suppliers. Make sure you check first before buying.
