It's mounted up by the fuse box. Little thing with a couple wires on one end and a wire on the other. It should be 0.6 ohms. Then with ignition on, check to see that you have current to the single pole side. If not check starter relay and then wiring to starter and ignition switch.
Other things.
1) Check the fuse in your coil.
2) There's a fuse in your control unit. Don't pull it for now. Loosen the unit, leaving the ground connected. With ignition on you should have power between # 2 and #4 (under a rubber shield thing. If not it's probably ignition switch wiring. I've never pulled the fuse, but I don't see why it should cause any long term problems.
If that ain't it - time to start working through the terminals.
Got a terminal tracing writeup?
Oh, maybe you're lucky - check your main ground strap and the ground from your control unit. Clean, dielectric grease and tighten - even if they look good. Saabs seem to be quite sensitive to bad grounding.
Good luck - I hate elec work,
Buck
