The only info I can share is that..... Posted by vsfoxe [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Periodic "CODE" problem on "Clarion made for Saab", KHS, Tue, 26 Aug 2008 11:44:25 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I had a '93 900T and when I got it, each time the key was turned OFF it would lose the code. Turned out that the 3 Amp fuse in the radio rack was blown. So it lost 12Volts whenever the key was OFF. And I know the radio won't work without the CD/EQ being plugged in, or if the EQ/CD is removed the cable to the CD/EQ must be terminated with a special conversion electrical plug. Doesn't explain why one CD/EQ works & the other doesn't, nor why it waits to accept the code. But I'd lean towards a partially broken wire or a loose connection, or a loosely connected radio rack. I suggest removal, examination of each item including cables, and careful reinstallation. I wish there was some magic to be done! Good luck!
