Hi,
About the heater hose, are you referring to the hardline (steel pipe) that runs across the engine to the water pump? (its been a while since i've had my head inside a c900).
About the picture: It appears you are referring to the water line coming out of the PCV hose. Oil would be coming from the crankcase vent, and is more or less normal. (you have a turbo?) You will find that the big rubber hose runs from your valve cover to the vacuum side of the turbo. there is a small steel hardline *inside* part of this tube, which is water, plumbed into the same circuit that runs water through the throttle body (to keep it from freezing). I assume it runs through the PCV for the same reason.
