fuel feed issues

replaced my 1990 900S fuel pump complete with the fuel pump (complete) from my 94 vert parts car. had immediate fuel flow and car ran. After a day or so it started bucking as if it had a fuel feed problem so I did the bentley bypass wire thing between fuse juntion 27 and 30 and got NO fuel. It did dump plenty of fuel when I turned the key over however. I figured new fuel filter under belly of car would "maybe" fix. But NOooo. It did not. I noticed fuel solenold on Turbo is 2.5 bars and on 900S it's 3.0 bars. Also when there is what sems to be fuel starvation there is a valve type rattle from under the hood(when driving so can't assess further) I have not completely digested issues concerning fuel computer (you know the box on pass side interior) and the two relays. Any suggestions before I replace the pump again? This time with a new one.
