We decided to use a tube with one end adjustable and poly bushings to replace the rubber. The rod end bearings are not the teflon crap that are referred to as racing series. Those lasted about 8 laps, and the 1st turn corner worker asked me if the exhaust was loose from hearing the rattle of the bearing. We changed to rod ends known in the aircraft world as loader slot or slotted entry type bearings -- no rattles now. From what I recall, Brad doesn't use one of the stays in his race car....he would know the answer to your question though. 816-333-6582
