both too...

I have both too... a 95 9000 and a 91 900. I like the 9000's extra power and huge storage capacity (and split folding rear seats). I don't like how complicated it seems compared to the 900. I also dislike the automatic climate control setup in the 9000 and the lack of a real glovebox. But, I haven't had to really do much to my 9000 since I've had it besides the exhaust (which was expensive).
The 900's do seem simpler and easier in most ways and have a certain charm. My wife drives the 9000 and we use it when driving the baby around, and I drive the little 900 convertible myself (I don't even think my wife's ever been inside it even!). I get slightly better gas mileage on the 900 than on the 9000, both are quite good compared to the new cars being sold. I get 27-33 mpg on the 900 and 25-30 on the 9000.
I love my 900, it reminds me of a little airplane and it makes the ridiculously long 1-and-a-quarter hour drive to work more bearable. And the funny looks I get from people sometimes are amusing.
