1988 SPG. Envision opening the fuel fill door. Inside surrounding the circular fill opening is a plastic surround. Mine is cracked so that the door doesn't fit square when closed. I tried removing the plastic surround, but it seemed like it was a contiguous piece going all the way down to the tank. Would I have to pull the tank/nozzle out of the car to remove/replace that plastic surround? Oh wait, I just remembered there is a removable rubber flex piece on the nozzle pipe...is this how I would get to this? TIA.
