When you say you had to "wiggle the wires" to make it start, which wires are you talking about? Are you sure you don't just have a bad ignition switch? You are absolutely going to need a way to test fuel pressure here. Actron sells both a cheap fuel pressure gauge and the correct banjo fitting adapter to fit a Saab fuel rail. $35 or so well spent. Do you have spark in all cylinders? I've found it useful to have someone crank the engine while using an inductive timing light on each spark plug lead to guarantee there is spare getting to each plug - you still need to pull the plugs to check them, but this test will rule out the distributor. Maybe a bad NTC sensor not giving a cold enough reading... the carb cleaner will start the car, and once it's running it'll stay running with the fuel injectors? Have you done the wiring harness tests in the Bentley? Have you run the LH 2.4.2 component diagnostics?

You need to start at the beginning with the proper tools and work through each component til you find it. It's either fuel related (not enough, or not enough pressure), air related (clogged filter, or bad AIC), or spark related (not enough, or the wrong timing). Swapping components around isn't going to get you anything, since you have no guarantees what you're swapping in is any good either.

No start problems are a major hassle - been through them myself and wouldn't wish them on anybody. But you can solve this - you just need to work methodically.
