It's probably an intake problem. As you see there's lots of ideas -
blown gaskets to vac hose, PCV check, etc.
If all your vac hoses are fine, grommets, etc too, then do you still have that hiss?
If so, I got an idea to help find it.
Similar to a stall test for an automatic transmission.
Put your front on stands, blocked and e-braked.
Have an assistant there.
See if accelerating against the brake can cause enough
load to cause the hiss and pinpoint the leak, be prepared with
a paper towel tube "stethoscope" for listening.
Don't let revs break 3k if possible, and do it for as short a time
as possible.
