It sounds like the forward clutch is jammed-up although re-adjusting the shift cable is certainly worth a try. The forward clutch in the T37 usually fails in such a way that rebuilding is the only effective solution. 108,000 miles is a bit early for genuine internal failure of a T37 but it can happen. There may an odometer glitch and the car really has over 150,000 miles. That's about when T37s usually start to act up. Good luck
