1993 C900 Vert with the hunting idle. Soooo... after long hours of cogitation I finally checked the AIC power and ya know, without power, the AIC don't work!

After testing for power on the connector and even watching the little gate stand stock still after disconnecting the hose while running the car I am now of the conclusion that:

1- I've got a break in the wire.
2- I've got an LH control unit not sending power to the AIC.

This is a 2.4 system car... sooo....

Any thoughts on the best way to go about this? It's a real hassle to get at that LH unit, some sort of clip mechanism and tiny torx screw then I've got to dissasemble the cover to test from the back side of the connector- is it even likely that just the AIC circuit would go?
