I covered mine with my 6-man inflatable raft (deflated)and then a waterproof tarp. I closed the doors with the tarp tucked in the windows. The back of the tarp was tucked in to the hinge side of the trunk. On nice days I would open everything up to air it out. Worked pretty well as my tp had a few leaks in it at the time.
I wanted to keep it covered because of the pine trees I had to park under. The pitch drippings were murder on my top!
