could be burned out, could be the sensor has fallen apart and into the tank (*very* typical with your year using the "new" sender), or how much is the most gasoline you've ever put in the tank? it's an 18 gallon tank. If you have not put more that 15 gallons in chances are you are 1) not going to see it and 2) overly risk averse to running out of gas! Come on take a chance, live on the edge, you are a Saab driver! But then again not running out of gas is perfectly ok!
