An E-mail statement on the Lotus site from the makers of Pulstar plugs stated to reset/disconnect battery of car to reset the computer so the ECU learns the new response to the replacement (Pulstar) plugs. The computer learns the conditions of the old plugs and needs to be reset. I know when any of my Saab's have been sitting with a dead battery, the car always runs a little poorly until it (ECU) figures out the driving conditions. So if your decided to try Pulstar plugs, disconnect the positive wire from the battery and ground it to the chassis to clear the memory (ECU)
