Hey Justin,
Sounds like your familiar with this engine type. The distributor is spinning and the gear looks good. I'll double check the order of the wires.
You know how with a cam shaft on the 16v you have to turn the flywheel a few times to get the notch on the can to line up with the sprocket? I'm just wondering if the distributor is the same way. ..or if the rotor is aimed at #1 and it's at TDC is the timing definitely correct? I think I'm confusing myself. Sorry if this isn't very clear. I'll see what I can figure out tomorrow. thanks for the advice.
