Working under the hood yesterday I managed to crack a fuel line, not one of the larger fuel injector feed lines, but I cracked the smaller black line that feeds the cold start injector-right at the injector. So I see from what I have researched on this site, it's time to hit the pick-n-pull for CIS fuel lines from an old VW Rabbits or an Audi with the same CIS system. Will the Rabbit/ Audi have these smaller black lines covered with stainless steel mesh instead of just the black plastic? Car is a 84 900T 4dr. It was fine before I got careless, though I really don't remember putting pressure on it? The other lines seem flexible, even the larger lines over the intake have not turned brown yet.
