It'll take you 15 minutes. All you've got to do is adjust the length of the reverse lock out pin. Here's how; Pull the gear selector boot off, remove the two screws beneath it & slide the ignition cover over the boot (oh, don't forget the wiring for the dome light switch & don't lose the green ring That sits atop the ignition switch). Now remove the three screws on the retaining ring over the ball at the base of the shift lever. The whole thing can now be pulled out. The pin at the very bottom either too long or too short...Bently says it's supposed to protrude 22mm, but it's easy enough to experiment until you've achieved the desired result. Once you've got it right, clean out the old lube & slather some fresh grease in there. Re-assemble & kick yourself for not doing this 3yrs ago!
