The CE is already lowered in the front 16mm and rear 10mm from the stock springs....
Seems that 1.6 inches below where you are now would be hard on the undercarriage or the pavement....
The one and the only springs to use if you plan to lower the car and play with wheel sizes are Brad's adjustable springs. You can lower the car, or make it so you need a step stool to get in.....
And, if you do decide to lower it, and use larger wheels/tire combo, you will need to relocate the rear axle 10 mm forward. Unless you like to rub the rear tires in the wheel wells that is...
BBS should look good, but check the weight of them. If they are beastly heavy then you will notice the handling is not nearly as good as with the stock wheels.
Then again, it you are just going for looks and don't care how the car performs or handles, then by all means go for it! They look pretty good on any car.
I didn't know BBS offered a 5 spoke wheel to fit a C900.
