I did not receive one bad suggestion. I just chose the one that seemed easiest for me and my limited skills. The area of fuel line is in a place where a foot on a fully depressed clutch pedal "could" strike the repair area. I thought the fitting approach was not as flexible or as safe if subjected to pressure/movement. Also sealing the ends of the replacement hose with Seal All made me feel I had more security and I did not see a way to seal the fittings as I did the ends of the fuel injector hose. If I had to do it all over again I would remove ALL of the plastic tubing (the fuel feed line) and run fuel injector hose from the tank to the engine. Hopefully I won't create any more problems for myself as old cars tend to provide all the extra work I need. AND again it's good people like you all that make my life easier. Thanks
