Yes and no. You can use vert panels an a 3-door but you can't use 3-door panels in a convertible. The overall dimensions of the panels are the same and the mounting holes will line up.
The differences are:
-The convertible uses different lock knobs. You have to modify the shaft that goes to the lock cylinder in the door that the knob screws to, or use the shafts from a convertible.
-The pockets on the convertible panels are an inch shallower (see why below).
-The thickness of the panel at the bottom is different on the 3-door--it's thicker. The convertible has a higher door threshold in order to stiffen the body. The door panel actually closes against that threshold. In the coupe, the base of the panel is atop the door threshold. Therefore if you try to use 3-door panels in a convertible, the thicker panel of the 3-door hits against the convertible threshold and you are unable to close the door.
I have convertible panels in my '92 900T coupe and they look fine. Only the snootiest of Saab aficionados will notice. I used them because they have the leather accents on both the door caps and armrests.
