Actually, Saab changed the front seats to the 9000 style in 1991, which necessitated a change in the mounting at the front also. I can't recall at the moment what the differences in the floorpan are. At a minimum, you would need to cut holes for the seat hardware to pass through to mount your seats.
The rear shouldn't be an issue, I would think, as the major change in the rear seat mounting was going from having to remove 4 screws and a trim strip to a clip arrangement (this was needed because the LH ECU diagnostic connector was under the back seat...). Saab didn't change the location of the box reinforcement beam, so the carpet should fit.
