Further to my posts of the last several days...

Well it wasn't the antenna retractor, as I discovered the hard way last night, that was running the battery completely down in a day or two.

Now I see that even with the key out of the ignition (no power to the spark coil when the key is out/off, BTW), there is still 12V to the actuating solenoid terminals (not the main contacts) on the ABS pump relay and that that relay tends to get hot/warm, with the key out and everything else off. At least until the battery runs totally down. Neither 30A fuse has ever blown. And the brake boost is OK and brake fluid light goes off, except sometimes momentarily when braking.


On the other hand, there is no voltage going to the solenoid terminals of the ABS ECU relay (the one with five blades), either with the ABS pump relay in and activated, or pulled out of the box. And likewise with the key in, out, off, and on. That may be one of the reasons the ABS light is on all the time.

Unfortunately, I only have a Haynes manual for the 8V C-900s (I also have an '86 non-turbo, with no SRS, no ABS, no nothin': that's why it runs forever with no hassles!), and not yet a Bentley manual for the '91 16V C-900 which is presently making me crazy. Is the electrical schematic online anyplace? Does anyone have a PDF or JPG scan of those pages?
