If it's just going to the crusher, I wouldn't bother screwing around. I had two cars go to the crusher last year. Neither even had wheels. The rear axles and hubs were on, but the knuckles were removed from the front. I just hooked a tow chain on them and pulled them with my truck to an area where the salvage guy could get his flatbed. He pulled them both up, no problem. Of course I've got a gravel driveway, so it cleaned up with just a little raking.
