I believe they've changed clutch size in 1990. Chances are good the pressure plates had same mounting pattern in 1984 and 1989. These pressure plates can and should be used with newer larger disks. You may need to grind them just a but for proper fit. The best clutch spacer tools can be made of a handle of a 5 gallon bucket. This will fit any clutch size.
