I can't boost beyond atmospheric pressure, I have this nasty ZZZZiingg sound as I try to wind her up, I get almost no smoke in my exhaust at idle, but tons of blue smoke when I rev her up. Looked at the waste gate rod and there's oil on it.
It had been boosting really nicely lately (seemed like it was getting higher than normal boost (16-18 instead of 13-15 psi. Is it normal for these things to fail catastrophically (go all at once) like that? I've got my old Garrett that I can put back on, but I sure liked the Mitsu while it lasted.
So whata ya folks say? Is my turbo cooked?
