DON"T do a BOV, do a diverter. My '88 Volvo has one. It re-routs the air back between the AMM and the turbo, thus you don't vent metered air into the atmosphere. Helps keep boost better than a blow-off as the velocity of the air keeps the compressor spinning faster too. The best thing is it also is kinder to the turbo than not having one. I'd consider it not to be a performance item, but a turbo-saving one. It's beyond me why Saab wasn't using these yet, and why Audi didn't use them until 1991 or so...
