for starters.... the speed rating is usually attached to the maximum speed shown in the speedometer, a european requirement. You can run any rating you want that they will sell you... That being said, the *only* differences between the SPG and the "regular" turbos is that 1)body cladding (no impact on tires) 2) cool(er) wheels - no impact on tires save size 3) lower stiffer springs - no impact on wheels save clearance 4) speedo may have higher maximum speed shown - see above on this, 5) different APC for HP gain along with FPR - again, no difference on tires. Basically the top speed between the SPG and turbo is about the same. And, please tell me where you can legally do 130 mph for 2+ hours anyway?
Basically you can run any quality V,Z, or H rated tires of size that clears everything. I got an SPG that had Cooper 185/60/15's on it, I usually run either 195/60/15's or 205/50/15's on my Saab(s). All H or V rated too.
