Make sure the car is good and hot as well.
You can also disconnect your windshield washer line at the hood and hook it up to a unused nipple on the intake.
go get the car really hot and find a big hill.
Charge up the hill and when you are in the boost, hit the windshield washer.
Hold it until you have to shift or the car starts to stumble.
Look in the rear view mirror and see all the carbon that was in your head now is a smoke cloud behind the car.
repeat until the police show up or your exhaust is clear (white smoke like a head gasket failure).
You just steam cleaned the inside of you head.
This knocked my NOx in half.
Just remember if the car starts to stumble, let of the washer before you let off the gas.
Do the usual check for vac line, check the PVC etc.
If i recall correctly, lower octane gas also helps because it has less affinity to pick up the carbon.
Hope this helps - Carl
