Wind noise at speed might be a problem for some people. My top's pretty ratty which makes it worse, but if she's used to something quiet like a 9000 and does a lot of highway driving that might be an issue. Staying warm this winter was no problem. As always, rust. You can pull the back seat and inspect the hydraulic bits for leaks. Windows can be misaligned (making wind noise louder). With mine, closing the top is a little bit of a pain -- it doesn't 'park' above the windshield so you have to kind of hold it up, pop the latches, and guide it into place. Not really hard if you can reach the far latch, and better than having to get out of the car (like the new Solstice/Sky tops!).
All that being said, after a drive through the country (where there are things to smell) with the top down on a spring afternoon it may be hard to say no.
