OK so ziggy says it's the pulley, but ziggy what is this lock tight fix you speak of? Also 900TinFL ziggy says you might have damaged other parts, hence the shavings. I'd try to get more detail on the lock tight fix, but it sounds as if your more likely to need a new pulley. I lucked out and bought one from a seller on ebay for $77 and free shipping. I think it was made by Dorman. Go to Saabsite one of the sponsors on this page and search crankshaft pulley. Good luck and there are other things you need to fix while in there having to do with the oil pump and water pump as it will spend money now but save lots of labor later. Since your a turbo you won't have to mess with the hall sensor like 89 non T's have to. Special tools needed / to be made. Ask others for more details.
