Oil on the underside of the trailing edge of the hood--that is, where it meets the windshield--typically indicates a leaky oil pump or crank seal. The oil drips onto the crank pulley, which slings it up. I'm inexperienced with AC issues, so it could be the AC, I suppose, but I've seen a couple cars with oil-on-the-hood that had seal issues at the crank/pump.
