Fuel distributors succumb easily to old gasoline. How long was the car sitting? if more than a couple of Months likely the Fuel distributor is gummed (not 100% but more than likely) Remove the little black roundish thing after having undone the white plastic Fuel lines from it Being VERY carefull they are brittle as GLASS when old and tan coloured, Brown almost means do not touch! These are no longer available if you break one you will have to use the braided steel wrapped equivalents from a VW rabbit.. IF you can find one near you. In the centre of the black fuel distr. there is a cylindrical plunger Be Careful! it will fall out as you lift the distributor off If it falls it can be ruined, as the fit is a lapped one. No room for sloth. Usually this thing is all gummed up with fuel reside wash it clean in solvent until it slides in it's bore v easily .. then reinstall.
