Hi,

We just finished an auto to manual conversion on my '92 900 turbo and all seems successful. Many thanks to those on the board who answered all of my questions along the way, especially oldsaab.
In the process, we also installed a brand new OEM turbo, and set and checked the wastegate to base boost (~5.6 psi) as per Bentley. 1st through 4th, all is well. The problem is, in 5th gear the boost goes wildly into the red if I give it too much gas and I have no acceleration (for example, when trying to get up to speed from an exit onto the highway). Note, I've got the red series APC, EPROM, and fuel injectors from Swedish Dynamics (which were installed well prior to conversion and new turbo). Any idea what could be causing this or what needs to be adjusted? I'm not looking for super boost, but would rather have good driveability.
