THe wire is used to compress the clutch pressure plate teeth...and is the thickness of Television Cable (RCA). THat is what I used, did not buy the tool.
THere is a separate tool for the front seal...it is a press-type tool that screws int to the shaft hole and pushes in the seal uniformly. I ended up doing it manually, tapping it in EVER SO GENTLY for about half an hour before I got it in there. I recommend going to a local SAAB shop and borrowing that tool, as I still wonder if I will have a leak because of that jobby.
