its more than just a clicking noise, it affects driveability too. feels like its firing on 2 cyl. This issue seems to come and go with load on the drivetrain. If I pull out slow and easy and accelerate thru the gears, it does not do it. If I let the clutch out too fast, it starts in first and continues thru all gears. I cant push the throttle too hard or it does it. the only way to make it go away then is to back off the throttle. the reason I think its the primary chain is that with the car jacked up on one side, turning the wheel back and forth produces a loud crack eminating from the clutch/primary chain area, and it gets louder if i remove the cover from the input shaft. If there was a way to upload a video or audio recording I would. I can record it with my digital camera but would have to send it via private email.
